This biryani I made in a simple way of my style. Hope you all like this recipe.

Ingredients and spices that need to be Prepare to make Veg Biryani:

  1. 150 gm rice (I have taken zeera masino small grain rice)
  2. 100 gm cut veggies like gajar, matar, phool ghovi, sweet corn
  3. beans, aloo
  4. 1 onion chopped length wise 2 med tomato chopped
  5. 3 green chilli chopped in length 1 tbsp garlic paste
  6. 1 tsp minced ginger 1 tbsp chopped mint leaves 1 tez pata
  7. 1 tsp fennel powder 1 tsp dhania powder 1 tsp zeera seeds
  8. 1 tbsp curd 1 tbsp friend onion
  9. 4-5 saffron strands soaked in warm milk for colour
  10. to taste Ghee+oil to cook Salt
  11. Whole garam masala
  12. 3 green cardamon 1 Black cardamom 1 inch dalchini 6 black pepper
  13. 4 cloves 1 star anese 5 strands of Mace 1/3 tsp Sahzeera

Steps to make to make Veg Biryani

  1. First grind the sabut garam masala to dardara powder.
  2. Cook the soaked rice till half done
  3. In a heavy bottom pan heat the ghee+oil.
  4. Add tez pata and dardara garam masala.
  5. Cook in low med heat to get a beautiful aroma.
  6. Add zeera to spluter and then onion.
  7. Mix chopped chillies and tomato. Cook till oil separates from masala.
  8. Add veggies, salt, curd, fennel and dhania powder and mint leaves. Cook till veggies half done.
  9. Transfer the veggies to a deep pan.
    Make a layer.
  10. Over it make the layer of rice. Sprinkle the saffron liquid and fried onion.
  11. Cover and cook till done. Serve hot with raita you like.
